Before it becomes too much of a faded memory, here are a few pics from my antique market this past weekend at The Arboretum.
Yes, I decided to bring my oversize tub, and to my chagrin, it was the first thing to sell. Sometimes I put, what I think is a price high enough that someone will have to think about it...NOT
This garden display was by my friend Karrin at Steeplechase Antiques. She was also hosting the event.
My inspirational fountain.
My friend Catherine checking out one of my tables. Chatherine did a little feature on me at the market, check it out on her blog http://freddyandpetunia.files.wordpress.com/
The items that flew immediately, aside from my beloved....
were...
along with a lot more throughout the day. It was an easy pack for me. Thanks to all who came out.
Check back soon to see what I do with this....
that's awesome! you had some gorgeous treasures there! can't wait to see what you do with the dresser! tfs!
ReplyDeleteYou had some great stuff! I can see why you cleaned up! Love that huge ornate frame! And is that a painting with the gondola grouping? Did you sell that one Rosemary? *winks* Vanna
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary, What great stuff...and congrats for selling so much. I just love that very large frame and the set of french tables with the drawers that sold. Can't wait to see what you do with that dresser!
ReplyDeleteMarianne :)
You really had some beautiful pieces in your show! Oh how I wish I could've been there!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your success at the show too,
Sherri
hey lady, you told me you weren't selling that tub ...
ReplyDeletecouldn't you see my hand waving in the air clear from the state line?
we did well, too ... sold the Italian chairs ...
I TRIED not to sell the tub Joy. Geez, price didn't seem to matter. The strategy of putting a high price on the piece I really don't want to sell has backfired on me before. When will I learn? I thought I'd bring it back home. It's OK, it went to a grateful buyer. I promise, I'll give you first crack if I come across another one.
ReplyDeleteYou had some lovely items on the market! I would definitely get me a side table (if I lived any closer...like thousands of miles, he he!)...
ReplyDelete...Blogger has still issues...but at least i can comment again! :)
Oh my goodness, you have some wonderful treasures that I would have bought too if I lived close by. Thanks for visiting me. Love your blog and I'm now your newest follower.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
