I used one of my gesso/paint mixtures on all three. Before recovering the seat on the chair with linen material, I transferred the image with the Splendid Blender method. Then I aged it with a combination of coffee and dye.
I left the drawers of the two stands wood, and distressed the rest. I followed with a little stain.
Here are the before pics.
So, there you have my blue trio.

ReplyDeleteHello Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job on your tables and the chair. I love re-doing things and am getting ready to re-paint my kitchen chairs and the base of my table with Annie Sloan paint and then add a dark wax to enhance the parts I want to show off. I'm still researching this project and hope to start it soon.
