A Touch of Silver

I just gave my candelabra style lamp a little makeover.

Here it is before.

My inspiration was my art deco lamp base.

So, I dry brushed the candelabra with metallic silver, and touches of green.

It has more depth now, and the  silver reflects beautifully in the crystals.

Working on my next redesign. Check back to see how an old, and recent find, became the perfect marriage.

  1. It seriously looks like it's naturally aged over time! Great job!

  2. I love the transformation, it looks great! Chandeliers are one of my many weaknesses. I going to be repurposing a bird cage using silver as the base coat. Would you mind sharing...is the metallic silver an acrylic paint? Thanks Bobbie
