Redoing a Redo

You've seen me redo a redo before. Like I did with  "A Different Look".   Well, here is another one.






Remember this guy.  You can see how I found it originally, and the  previous redesign  here.

I wanted a more subdued look. Because I hadn't sealed it, I just added another layer.  I gave it a coat of bluish grey acrylic paint, sanded it a bit, and applied dark wax. You can still see traced of the previous colors and distressing underneath, which is exactly what I wanted.




Spicy was fun, but this fits my aesthetic better.  On to the next project.

  6. you crack me up with your redo of a redo!! yes, I've done that with my dining room walls several times...just not really liking the paint color once it was up on the walls...
    but I love the new look...much more in line with your aesthetics...
