Let's just call this Studio Vignettes II. I'm still working on small projects. I have furniture redesigns near completion. I'll share them soon. In the mean time, here are a few more shots from my studio.
I made this "cloche" with an upside down bird feeder and a column base. Not sure what I'm going to put in it.
I whitewashed the plaques and basket with primer and gesso. The crown plaque is metal. I bought the other decorative wooden plaques at a flea market. I have about 30 of them. I gave them a dark undercoat first.
More of my intentional bad stripping on the table and urns. I'm not quite finished with them.
I found more rusty items in the garage. More small projects coming.
I have more unearthing and organizing to do in the garage. See ya soon.

I wish I were living so much closer to you, then I could come over and take it all in personally, perhaps taking a few of your pieces home with me :)
ReplyDeleteThe simple rusted jingle bells are soulfully speacking to me, I guess its the holiday music they make and simple beauty they add to ones tree or holiday decor :)
For the pieces in your vignettes of rustic French beauty I see a few pieces I wish I had for my own. Urns, baskets, plaster, and the natural finish to that copula shaped piece I and so taken with and I have a perfect place for it :)

You have the best "junk" Rosemary....and I mean that in the best way as only we bloggers understand. Love the rose frames, the urn, and they keys. I've gotten urns to look like that by leaving them out in the rain. Can't wait to see more of what you've done!
