Finishes are what led to the name of my blog. A customer of mine said my weathered finishes looked like they came from an old chateau or "villa". This was some time ago. I started using "villabarnes" as my email address. When I started my blog, that's the name I went with. Here are some of the finishes I shared in 2011. You'll be seeing more this year. Hmmm, I always wondered the origin of your blog's name. I personally love it. It sounds very classy and sophisticated. I actually thought it was your last name to be honest. Perhaps you should change it to that. I think it flows nicely with your first name. Sounds like royalty! LOL.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Great work by a great artiste! Your tireless effort is an inspiration to all of us. I wish I had some of it. I use to ten years ago and beyond. I've slowed down a bit now but still love to create and turn something old or new into something different. Half the fun is how it all turns out!
ReplyDeleteA very Happy and wonderful new Year to you Rosemary! I can only say that your blog is amazing and I learn so much from you!
