Finishes are what led to the name of my blog. A customer of mine said my weathered finishes looked like they came from an old chateau or "villa". This was some time ago. I started using "villabarnes" as my email address. When I started my blog, that's the name I went with. Here are some of the finishes I shared in 2011. You'll be seeing more this year. Click on the title to review posts.

I can't tell you how many pieces I've worked on in 2011,
FRAME LOVE
RANDOM VIGNETTES
EXHAUSTED
However, I will be sharing many with you in the coming year.
Like how I use everyday items as inspiration,
FALL DECOR
and duplicate the look. I just finished this guy.
Wishing all my readers and followers a very Happy New Year.
