I painted these peat pots blue, followed by a top coat of white. No need to add texture. I just used acrylic craft paint. I then tore blue ledger paper, and decoupaged it right over a sprig of lavender. I do love my lavender.
Simple, but very pretty. See ya later.

I'm getting into painting furniture too. I'd like to layer color and add some sweeping brush strokes like Monet to a dresser I'm about to tackle. A friend of mine says you can't mess up chalk paint and I'd love to replicate the inside of a seashell on the top of the dresser. We'll see! Would also love to boost my blog, but don't know how. I love whAt you do.
