Texture and Script

I'm super busy packing for my show this weekend, but I wanted to share a quick post on one of my recent makeovers.



Here is the before.


I wanted a thick, slightly imperfect paint finish.  I added layers of paint and texture, blue ledger paper to the drawer front, and changed the hardware.

    Beautiful, Rosemary! Love the ledger paper on the drawer front and the new hardware. Make sure you pack a camera, too! We'd love to see pictures of the show.

    I just LOVE this! I would give everything we own this finish if my husband wouldn't vetoe it...I find myself looking at other people's furniture, even, imagining how it would look with a distressed painted finish! LOL ♥
