I showed you one idea for an ice cream stool base in "A Pleasant Surprise".
Just a reminder how they started.
This one I'm actually using as a stool, because I found a seat. I have no idea how long I've had this round seat, or what it came off of, but it works.
I cleaned, and sealed the base, followed by a dry brush of white paint. I covered the seat in drop cloth material, and draped one of the chandelier napkins I designed over the top for a casual look. I just attached the corners with a dab of hot glue.
What do you think?

Whoa Rosemary!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I actually loved the rusty stools as found-so rustic.
Then I loved the table you made, then the candle holder (spectacular!), now the stool. You could even put a plant in place of the candle, add a metal topiary and have the plant grow up. You are so talented, I love your vision.
XO
I love how the stool turned out! You always make the best things.
