I'm sure some of you guessed which lamp parts I would put together from my "Metal Madness" post,
but, you probably didn't know I would add a little garnish.
Here are the two pieces I attached.
I used a nut and bolt to attach them. I love these things.
Next, I just gave it multiple layers of white. I'm using it as a candle stand, and thought it would look nice with a little floral addition. I painted two of my metal roses.
They're not attached, but make a great embellishment.
I have more combo's to do, and furniture to finish, but I'm moving at a slower pace. My blood pressure has been a little elevated lately. Gotta slow down today, and take care of me. See ya soon.

Great mix of the metal fixtures. It turned out lovely. I hope you will listen to your body and take a rest. If you don't take care of YOU who will? Please take it easy, high blood pressure can be a very serious problem!
ReplyDeleteIt will still be there in a couple of days, Rosemary. This turned out great! I love the way the pieces look together and your roses look wonderful on it. Very romantic and I could see using this on one of those soaking tub ledges.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteI have also used lighting parts and turned them into candle holders. Mine are much smaller than yours. I love the roses with them.
I hope your blood pressure goes back to normal soon.
Hugs,
Dee
Definitely take care of yourself first. Your transformations are always so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteDo take care there is only one unique God created Rosemary. The candle stand is lovely. I have you know I have painted six items (small) recently. I barely ever paint so I do think of you when I feel that urge.
ReplyDeleteRosemary, that's really pretty! You did a wonderful job, it's very Shabby Chic!
ReplyDeleteDear Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteI was browsing through your blog to soak into all the beauty you are constantly creating when i found your adding dimension post.
you used dimension paint for the tags project but you are saying you know how do add the same effect without it. I'd like to try my hand at that but we do not have such paint in Italy, how can achieve the same result?
thank you so much
rita
