I've been looking back over the 228 posts I've done. Wait. Did I just say that I've done 228 posts? This coming from a woman who didn't think she had time to blog. Go figure. I've also been going over my stats.
When I hit six months of blogging, I did a review of my most viewed posts. You can check out that post HERE. The list has changed. My "Gesso Magic" post was my first actual tutorial, and was my number one viewed post for a very long time.
Nice Details
Now it's number two, behind "Splendid Transfer".
Vanity Bench
What's number three? "Old World Love".
Weathered Chair
Four? "Adding Dimension".
A Little Floral Dimension
Notice a pattern here? I always check my stats, because it tells me what you are most interested in seeing. Obviously you like my tutorials, but I have a question for you. What would you like to see here at "VILLABARNES" in the coming year? More tutorials? Video tutorials? Features? Questions and Answers?
I appreciate you, and value your opinion. You have been a constant source of joy, support, inspiration, motivation, and friendship.
THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY FIRST YEAR OF BLOGGING A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
Happy one year anniversary Rosemary!!! I think it would be awesome if you did a video tutorial!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your milestone and your prolific blogging! I don't think I've been following since the very beginning, but I've been a fan for quite awhile. I think we'd all like to see some video tutorials. I haven't worked with some of the materials you use and am a visual learner, so I know I'd appreciate the whole process more (and maybe be tempted to try it myself) if I saw you in action. Thanks for asking, by the way, and being attentive to your readers. It's why so many of us come to you for inspiration and creative energy.
