Quickie Calendar

Here's a quickie calendar I made today.





I grabbed a piece of wood I had in the garage,






added a little white paint,





and made an enlarged copy of the months from this refrigerator magnet.






I glued on the calendar, and a copy of one of my personal photos.





A little distressing on the entire piece, and I'm done.  This would also work as a multi-page calendar, but I like calendars I don't have to flip.  Next year, I'll just glue the new calendar over the old one.

    That's a great idea, Rosemary! Sometimes those calendars can be pretty ugly or have advertisements you don't want to look at all the time.

    You do make it look so easy. I always start an easy project and it ends up taking me six times longer than it should. You seem to have the opposite luck. Very pretty - love your photo.
