I'm Not Complaining

I have to do some replenishing.

My three day sale begins in two days, and quite a bit is gone already.  I had appointments all weekend.  I was so busy, I didn't stop to take pics.  So sorry.

I'm not complaining.  I'm very grateful.  I've sold nearly 30 of my silvered and grunged bottles (with orders for more), redesigned furniture, furniture I never started working on, those I wasn't quite finished with yet, piles of frames, chandelier, vintage brushes, baskets, buckets,  artwork, and a lot more.  This is why hubby and I shop every day.

I went hunting this morning, and found more vintage bottles, a frenchy stand, and this vase.

I spotted her across the room.

She has a few nicks, but I love her.

I have an appointment tonight to pick up more merchandise, and I have to finish a few pieces.  I'll try to share before it disappears. Cause, I have another appointment or two before the sale.   Busy, busy, busy.  See ya soon.

  5. Congratulations, Rosemary! Your bottles are lovely and I am glad you have sold so many with orders for more!

That is very encouraging for all of us artsy ladies. Sometimes I say, "Why should I devote time to art in this economy since people need to focus on the practical and necessary?"

I don't say this negatively, but in a wondering sort of way! That is why I enjoy reading about how God is blessing you so greatly as you use your talents:)

That vase looks very similar to one my grandmother use to have when I was little. I got that deja vu feeling:D

  12. That's a beautiful piece regardless of the chips! We just moved across the country with an open trailer, our tarp got rained on and turned some of my white furniture blue...I wish I could magically make you appear to work your magic on it! Waaahhhh!!! But re-painting it will keep me busy all summer:) I'll just have to channel some of that non stop energy of yours!

  13. Gorgeous - are you keeping her? At least for a while? My mom loved having an antique business because she could keep things she liked until she got tired of them and then make a profit. It's the perfect job! (ok, if you have excellent taste and tireless energy, its the perfect job!)

  20. I figured your stuff would go fast at the sale, but didn't think it wouldn't even make it to the sale!

  21. I'm so pleased for you that you are busy selling things. I know it must be very tiring but I also think rewarding as well to see the items you so lovingly re-purpose get snatched up.
