My three day sale begins in two days, and quite a bit is gone already. I had appointments all weekend. I was so busy, I didn't stop to take pics. So sorry.
I'm not complaining. I'm very grateful. I've sold nearly 30 of my silvered and grunged bottles (with orders for more), redesigned furniture, furniture I never started working on, those I wasn't quite finished with yet, piles of frames, chandelier, vintage brushes, baskets, buckets, artwork, and a lot more. This is why hubby and I shop every day.
I went hunting this morning, and found more vintage bottles, a frenchy stand, and this vase.
I spotted her across the room.
She has a few nicks, but I love her.

Hi Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!!! Congratulations on your wonderful success.
Dee
You're making my head spin:-) I wish I could be out there every day of the week, just not a lot going on mid week around here. Wish I could be there for your sale this weekend, I'm sure you'll sell everything.
ReplyDeleteRosemary,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear you are so busy. And doing what you love :-).

Sounds like you might could just sell from home and forget the shows. Wonderful. And, the vase is gorgeous. I love anything with cherubs.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Rosemary! Your bottles are lovely and I am glad you have sold so many with orders for more!
ReplyDeleteThat is very encouraging for all of us artsy ladies. Sometimes I say, "Why should I devote time to art in this economy since people need to focus on the practical and necessary?"
I don't say this negatively, but in a wondering sort of way! That is why I enjoy reading about how God is blessing you so greatly as you use your talents:)
That vase looks very similar to one my grandmother use to have when I was little. I got that deja vu feeling:D
Rosemary, I've been away for a bit; but, I am glad to hear that things are going so well! You are so talented; it's no wonder that you need to replenish. That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteRosemary you are such a talented lady.it does not surprise me that your things are selling fast!
ReplyDeleteYEA Rosemary! I'm so happy for your success. That vase is to die for, wow wow wow! Are you keeping her?
ReplyDeleteThat vase is large and in charge.
ReplyDeleteLove your new find! Very pretty.
ReplyDelete"busy" indeed! how wonderful! I LOVE that urn...chips and all! GORGEOUS! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful piece regardless of the chips! We just moved across the country with an open trailer, our tarp got rained on and turned some of my white furniture blue...I wish I could magically make you appear to work your magic on it! Waaahhhh!!! But re-painting it will keep me busy all summer:) I'll just have to channel some of that non stop energy of yours!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - are you keeping her? At least for a while? My mom loved having an antique business because she could keep things she liked until she got tired of them and then make a profit. It's the perfect job! (ok, if you have excellent taste and tireless energy, its the perfect job!)
ReplyDeleteI am certainly not surprised, the bottles are wonderful. I would wish you luck for the sale but I don't think you need it. Take care of yourself. Kathy
ReplyDeleteThat vase is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteLovin' that vase and glad you are 'good' busy! ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteWow! No wonder you spotted it from across the room! It's huge! Gorgeous too! SO happy that things are going so well for you! Looking forward to reading more about it and seeing pics! xoxo,Leena
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic vase, Rosemary! Definitely an eye catcher so I can see how you'd spot her from across the room. I'm so glad you are doing so well with your sales.
ReplyDeleteRosemary, being busy is generally good news. Lovely vase.
ReplyDeleteLoves the vase, what a find
ReplyDeleteI went shopping in St Louis and found some goodies also
I figured your stuff would go fast at the sale, but didn't think it wouldn't even make it to the sale!
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased for you that you are busy selling things. I know it must be very tiring but I also think rewarding as well to see the items you so lovingly re-purpose get snatched up.
ReplyDeletevery cool vase-a statement piece!
