It's four feet tall and nearly two feet wide at the top. I'm not planning to change the chippy finish.
I think just about anything would look good on top. Right now it's holding a few of my angel bottles.
LUV it.

ReplyDeleteOh Yeah that is chippy perfection.
ReplyDeleteGreat find, Rosemary! I have a pedestal that I bought a long time ago at Michael's {I think}. I still have it and have a large birdcage sitting on top of it right now.

Great find! I think we would have all about wrecked the car trying to get to that one:)
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing the people who read your blog don't go to the same yard sales. There would be knock down fights over things like that pedestal! ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteBeautiful old chippy pedestal. Loads of charm.
ReplyDeleteI'm speechless! If I saw that I'd stop traffic and park illegally to be the lucky new owner. What an awesome find!
ReplyDeleteI love it! What a great find! My mom had a few of these and she always put plants on them, trailing down from the top. Love the finish! Hugs, Leena

Beautiful just the way it is! I found one this year too, left the finish as found (crackle-type) and have my large Boston fern on it right now. Amazing what you can find!
