Okay, I seriously should have had a Top 10 when I did my review on tutorials. This post was suppose to be about my popular small projects by page views. What I realized was, they're mostly tutorials as well. No special order here. Click on titles to review posts.
SILVERED BOTTLES
I have to confess, this should have been in my Top 5 tutorials. The fact that this is my 234th post of 2012 may explain why I missed it.
FABRIC PRINTING w/BORDER
PLASTER REVIEW
I didn't identify this one as a tutorial, because I linked back to my plaster roses post from last year. However, the review gave a lot of you the idea to try this technique on faux fruit.
PEAT POTS AND LAVENDER
I gave you the basics on this little project.
BOTTLE LOVE More silvering.
FLEUR-DE-LIS SIGN
I think it was the embedded fleur-de-lis that caught your eye. The overall idea was pretty simple.
OLD WORLD MESSAGE BOARDS
My tops lists are based on statistics; page views, comments, etc. Some of you thought they were my personal faves. Hmmmm....Maybe I'll do that next.

Top Furniture Redesigns of 2012
In my last post, I shared my Top 5 tutorials according to my statistics. Today, I'm sharing my Top 5 Furniture Redesigns. Remember, click on the title to review the post.
QUIRKY CHAIR is Number 5.
I used french book pages to disguise flaws,
and add artistic flair to this chair.
Number 4, EASY CHAIR.
I only changed the frame of this piece,
but it made a difference.
At Number 3 is, FOOTSTOOL w/FRENCH TOUCH.
It started out pretty plain.
After some transferring, and paint, it had far more character.
Number 2 is, GREY WASHED STAND.
I loved how this one turned out.
NUMBER 1?
Way out in front, with comments, and views, is, WEATHERED CHAIR.
The before definitely didn't thrill me.
Much better.
Okay, even though it didn't make it into the Top 5, I have to re-visit this labor of love. The title of the post was THE BEFORE, cause the after was quite dramatic. Do you remember this one?
The before.
I made a top, added beading, embellishments, paint, and......I had to give it a shout out. I really put my heart into this one.
I'm off to do a little more reviewing. See ya soon.

2012 Most Viewed Tutorials
As time winds down on 2012,
I've been reviewing my statistics for the year. Last year I shared popular posts by stats, most viewed, etc. I'll be doing the same this year, starting with my Top 5 most viewed tutorials. You can click on the title to review the post.
I'm starting with SHABBY MAGNETIC BOARD at Number 5. I used faux flowers to dress up a distressed frame.
You loved this idea, and I have to say, it was one of my personal favorites.
Number 4 is ADDING DIMENSION.
You can use it on so many things.
TRANSFERRING IMAGES TO BOTTLES comes in at Number 3.
This is a fun technique. I had fun with it this year.
At Number 2 is, OLD WORLD LOVE. Still one of my favorite finishes.
DRUM ROLL PLEASE
Number 1 is still somewhat of a surprise to me. It's PLAYING WITH ROCKS. It is my second all-time most viewed post. I've stopped counting how many times it has been pinned, and it still pops up at the top of my daily stats 2-3 times a week.
Sometimes the simplest of ideas get the biggest response.
I'll be back with another tops list.
Have you checked your 2012 stats? You might be surprised.

Merry Christmas
And the angel answered
and said unto her,
The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Relaxing?
Relaxing is something that's difficult for me to do. I'm usually in constant work mode.
However, I've found myself falling asleep on the couch quite frequently these past few days. My body must be trying to tell me something. Of course, being self-employed, I'm still working (Customer requests, Etsy, etc), but I'm taking more breaks.
I've added a few more festive touches,
changed a switch plate from this,
to this,
and relaxed some more. I'm going to be spending time this weekend visiting some of you, my blogland friends. I haven't been able to do that as much as I've wanted to lately.
I'm about to curl up again, and watch a movie with my hubby and sons. Something we'll be doing off and on all weekend.
I hope you're all finding time to relax a bit, and enjoy your family. See ya soon.
