I used a metal rose fragment to create this tiara.
Now, I'm not quite finished with this next project yet. I painted and plastered more fabric roses, and attached them to this frame.
I transferred one of my images to an old piece of wood I painted white. Then I distressed it, and cut it to fit the frame.
I'm not finished with it because, I think the roses and frame need to be a light grey with a dark undertone. What do you think? I'm happy with the texture, but they look like they've had the death touch.
Can you figure out what I'm doing? I'll have a lot more to share soon.

ReplyDeleteI have been extra excited to see your posts recently--you are really on a roll--so many beautiful projects! I love the rose tiara! So sorry you aren't feeling well--I hope you don't have the awful flu going around. Take care!
ReplyDeleteThat tiara is really pretty and would look great tilted on a vanity mirror!
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteI am loving your creations. So soft and dreamy!
A little bit of mystery and suspense!!:)!! with the last pic...Hmmm, I wonder and can't wait to discover. I am sure it will be charming!
Ohhhhh the rose crown is my favorite one yet! It's beautiful!!! I'm not sure what you're up to with the glass beads but I'm sure it will be wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the peek at that frame, Rosemary! It looks so pretty!

ReplyDeleteYou are good.
I love the rose tiara but then I have loved them all!! I cannot wait to see what your next project is, that little hint looks divine!
ReplyDeleteYour creations are always fun and beautiful to see Rosemary! The tiara is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI think this tiara is my favorite so far. Is that going on Etsy by any chance?
ReplyDeleteLooks like some kind of crystals. OOH! I love the suspense.
ReplyDeleteI love your latest projects! All of the tiaras are so creative and original! I think you're right about the roses frame. It may be less funeralish in a lighter color LOL! I do like the dark too though. Tough to decide really. I love everything you do! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteThe crown is lovely Rosemary. And I love the darker color of the frame, it seems to fit it! When you find things in empty places that have sat unloved for many years it has that darker look to it. It makes me wonder who loved it... Can't wait to see it finished and what you are making with crystals??? A crystal crown maybe?? Whatever, I am sure it too will be lovely! My turn at a crown will come...hope you have a list going!!! Also hope you are feeling better, you need to take care of yourself, slowing down...yeah right!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pendra
The rose tiara is my favorite. I also love bling. Don't get sick. We need you! We love you! The bling suspense is almost painful.
ReplyDeleteThe tiara is quite pretty! I do love mine, by the way. Yes, I think the frame should be lightened. Can't wait to see what the bling is about! :)
