I gave the frame,
a wash of the same color brown as the cherub.
I didn't want them to match exactly, just compliment each other.
I didn't take pics, but the cherub is screwed in from the back of the frame.
Message board, chalkboard, mirror? What do you think?

I love how you are always SO busy and still have time to post these great photos!
ReplyDeleteTake care. . .
That looks amazing - the cherub is so sweet!

I love this project, it will look pretty no matter where you put it, so creative and sweet...
ReplyDeleteI like it just like that, without anything inside the frame. It's so pretty just like it is. Thank's for sharing, Dee from My Painted Stuff.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dee. I like it the way it is. Hang a small bunting with words like "love" "peace" or whatever makes you happy.
ReplyDeleteLove it, Rosemary! I don't think you could go wrong with either a chalkboard or memo board.
ReplyDeleteRosemary, the cherub frame looks great! I think it would nice as a chalkboard.
ReplyDeleteAny of the above would work well! Great pairing! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous, Rosemary! You make me want to start searching for cherubs! I think a memo board would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou could do anything with that and it would be perfect. Leaving it as is would be perfect too!
ReplyDeleteOh Yes...all of the above! Lovely. Creative Hearts are Happy Hearts...
ReplyDeleteGreat looking frame, love the cherub.
ReplyDeleteI'd hang it empty, it's so pretty just as it is.
Hugs,
Patti
The two items look perfect together Rosemary. I'd have a hard time too trying to decide what to use it as.
ReplyDeleteA mirror would be gorgeous....wonder if you could find a 'ghosty' one and have it cut to fit. And just as it is would be perfect too. Gorgeous Rosemary!! xo
ReplyDeleteWouldn't this be pretty with a boxwood wreath hanging inside, or another picture frame, also would love an old scruffy mirror! Lovely, Rosemary!

It's so pretty just the way it is, but I think a chalkboard would be a nice contrast.
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty--I picture some beautiful roses hanging in there from a wire! lovely. Thank you for sharing. I just made some Spring collages posted on my blog--so ready for spring air.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be lovely as a burlap lined bulletin board.
