Lots of layering.
I shared this frame several posts back. It has a mirror, and it was gold.
I left hints of gold.
Enhancing details.
Well, I have more frames, furniture, boxes, etc., waiting to be painted. See ya.

Beautiful just beautiful, you are just so talented, love the frames, so pretty...
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely delicious!
ReplyDeleteRosemary,
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know which I like best:
Your mad painting skills?
The actual thing you are painting?
Or your incredible photography?
You got it all, lady and I am a HUGE FAN of your work.
If less blogging means more doing, have at it - worth the wait every time.
Wow, I wish you could visit me and transform my world into the loveliness you create.
Have a wonderful and blessed week!
Breaks are refreshing I think. I adore your empty frame. One of my favorite vintage finds is my large oval gilded plaster frame in the living room. I left it chippy and did not touch it. I recently found a newer very large frame I have plans for. Wishing you a beautiful week, Olive
ReplyDeleteBravo!
ReplyDeleteHEY . . . GREAT MINDS DO think alike !!!
ReplyDeleteOur new post has an Urn very similar to the one on Your Gorgeous Frames !

It's nice to take a break regularly. I have collected old frames forever and you have some beauties here. I especially am fond of the one with the urn and swags. Lovely new finishes as well.

Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteLove the finish that you put on everything. I tried a version of your Old World method on a few items, I'll be posting photos of them tomorrow. They don't look as wonderful as yours by any means but your such an inspiration that I wanted to give it a try.
Really beautiful Rosemary. I love the colors and the layering. There's just so much depth to these pieces! I'd love it if you would share this at "What We Accomplished Wednesday," at Green Willow Pond. It is live right now. Have a great week!
