This piece didn't need much. It was already a galvanized beauty, with great nail head detail.
I've had it for a while. I just gave it a little extra oxidation, and stenciled "Paris" on with archival ink.
My wooden book bundle sold.
So, I'm going to be making more bundles. I'm adding a little extra age to my French book pages with my dye mixture.
Just little projects I can work on during a dreary weekend.
I'm working on soft and feminine,
and rustic.
Gotta get back to work. See ya soon.
Beautiful pieces! It's dreary here today too. Sigh! Not very inspiring weather for me.

Rainy days have you creating beautiful pieces. We are actually having Spring with Daffodils and Camellias blooming. Rain to come mid week. Happy Hearts are Creative Hearts...
ReplyDeleteUn beso.
Love your books! Warm & sunny here...finally!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend...
Blessings,
Cindy
I should hate to wish rain on anyone - but if rain and dreary weather helps you create I say let it pour!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your creations and wish I lived closer so maybe some would rub off on me!
Looks all great and sounds very comfortable!
ReplyDeleteLOL ~ I can't believe I got that book bundle, Rosemary! I thought for sure it would be gone already.

We're having a rainy day here also, but instead of being productive like you, I want to curl up and take a nap!!

I love the little galvanized box, it's gorgeous! You do such lovely work.
ReplyDeleteGreat projects.
ReplyDeleteAre you making tags of your Remember Me? They are so sweet.
How did you age your galvanized pan a bit more.
I use my rust formula on mine, and sometimes it just ages them, other rusts, even though not supposed to.
blessings and have a great week.

PS Are you making your own wooden books? We made them years ago, only painted them countryish then.
ReplyDeleteWhat you are doing is great.

Your latest projects are lovely, as always! Hope the sun will be shining soon!
ReplyDeleteI just love that metal tray and those books look amazing covered with the script paper & twine! I have some vintage bibles that I want to find that same kind of paper to cover them with as well.
