He had a pretty busy senior year. There were art shows (He won several awards), banquets, a trip to Springfield for a drama competition, prom, etc. Now, he'll be pursuing his artistic dreams,
and, I'm about to get back in the creative groove. I have two, possibly three (I haven't decided yet) shows coming up in June. I'm going to be very busy. After some serious purging, I have some hunting and gathering to do. I also have to get to some of my furniture redesigns. I'll be sharing. See ya soon.
Congratulations on your sons graduation!I know this is a bitter sweet time.So happy about his achievements but sad looking back to where did the years go!For me I only have one so when that time comes it will hit me hard.I am holding on to every single year!Love that sweet photo of you and your boys!

Happy Holiday Weekend.

Aww, *of course* they'll always be your babies, Rosemary!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your son on his graduation... it sounds as if he is well on his way to a very successful future! What kinds of artistic endeavors is he interested in? (The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, does it?!?)

ReplyDeleteI just love that picture of you and your sons. How cute! Congrats to your son on graduating.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your son!! Our son's must be close in age since mine graduated last year. Sounds like yours is taking after you with the artistic genes!
ReplyDeleteIt's a bittersweet time for you for sure. How do they grow up so fast? You must be very proud of all his achievements this past year and I'm sure the next part of his journey will be wonderful! My grandson passed a juried process and is part of a summer long Art In The Park series so his artistic life is moving along nicely. My fingers are crossed for you boy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. It always feels so good to see our children accomplish goals. Sounds like your son got your creative gene.
ReplyDeleteRosemary i know how bittersweet it was for you to see your last one off to brave the world. I felt the same way and still think back at where are the years going with my daughter who is in college, she will always be my baby, in fact I often call her baby lol!
ReplyDeleteI am excited to see what next you will inspire us with, and I am excited to share some of my smaller projects with you as soon as I get them to that point of share.
Have a beautiful weekend I am off to junk.
Lots of beautiful-ness your way.

OH MY GOSH they are ADORABLE!!! What a great pic of the three of you -- time sure does fly doesn't it!? Congrats to you and your fine, young man :) Our girls just graduated from college last weekend and are off working in Alaska for the summer!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!! You must be one proud mama! My boys are a long way from graduating (still in elementary school), but I know I'll be a happy wreck when those days come. =)

The time flies and then our babies fly away. I had a serious case of "empty nest" syndrome when my youngest left for college and it took a while to come to terms with my mixed feelings of happiness for my children and loss for a wonderful chapter in my life. They will fly back and forth, from their new nests to the home nest and it is a joyful thing to see their growth and resiliency. Your son obviously has a direction for his life and is already accomplishing wonderful things, thanks to your guidance and no small giving of your own talent to him. Congratulations to him and to your family.
ReplyDeleteStill and always!

Its bitter sweet to see your babies spread their wings and fly! Congrats on your talented sons. Love the pic of proud Momma and handsome sons...oops! babies..LOL
ReplyDeleteLook how happy you are with your babies. Don't they grow up too fast? My son will be a Senior next year and I really can't believe how fast it went....one day you send them off to Kindergarten and the next thing you know they are almost done!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have lots to be proud of:-)
Hope you had a nice weekend.

Congratulations and best wishes to your son on his graduation! How lucky he is to have a Mamma who encourages his artistic endeavors. My two boys are grown up, but we're still very close in our hearts. The picture of you playing with your guys just reminds me of how much I enjoyed "S" and "C" when they were little - Love it!
