I added the words in script. It's applied to salvaged wood, and distressed around the edges.
After finishing it, I began working on a small rack, using salvaged wood, a copy of vintage fleur-de-lis paper, and vintage screw-in hooks.
Looking at the rack lying on it's back, I thought it made the perfect easel for my plaque.
So, now, it has a dual purpose.
I designed this next plaque for my friend Nancy. She asked me to make an inspirational plaque for her, using one of my favorite verses.
I created this piece with paper mache, paint, plaster, and a dimensional design. It has a peaceful feel, and, it's a lot lighter than the concrete I've been applying this verse to.
See ya soon.
