They SOLD very quickly after the crowd rolled in. Marble tops with ornate metal bases.
I have to be honest. I wasn't crazy about the marble. I prefer marble with white and grey tones. However, the lady who purchased them loved the color. So, that's all that matters.
The pair of weathered green chairs I shared before sold as well, as did quite a few other things.
My inspirational plaques, and brocante signs sold well. People at this particular market don't see a lot of repurposed and handmade items.
Frames, pottery, this and that, sold.
It was nice to get out. The weather was pleasant, and this flea market is only a 15-20 minute drive. Many years ago we sold at this market almost every week. The crowd comes in at 7:00am. We were pretty light by 9:30, and left around 10:00. We didn't bring a huge load, but, for a few hours work, we were very pleased with the results.
I'm still taking it easy. Thanks again for all your prayers and well wishes. I'm making a great recovery. Feeling like my old self again. I'll have more to share during the week.
See ya soon.
What a deal on those marble tables. It's no surprise they sold along with those green chairs. Glad to hear your feeling like your old self again. Don't do too much too soon!!
ReplyDeleteYeah!!! That's the way it should go.. start at 7 leave at 10 with almost all gone. Glad you had a great turnout.
ReplyDeleteMake the rest of the day a sweet lazy family day!
Happy today.
Hugs, Gee

ReplyDeleteI always wonder why they don't have more flea markets like that here?! I just don't get it. I would definitely get up early to see what I could snag at your booth!

ReplyDeleteMy entire world is brown/beige/ivory - I loooove those tables, what a lucky gal (and lucky you two) for finding those tables.

Come sit a spell in my garden room with me.
Happy you had a good morning of sales. This sounds like a great place to sell, too. The tables will be loved by who ever bought them.
ReplyDeleteRosemary, it sounds like you had a great morning. I am so glad you are doing well. Don't over do it yet. The tables are very pretty and prefer the gray marble also. Love the bases.

Great tables, Rosemary! I love the base on them. I'm more of a grey and white marble girl myself. : )

ReplyDelete$15 for the pair! That's worth buying for the price alone! The bases of them are so lovely and articulately detailed. I'm so happy to know that you are feeling better and pray you continued good health.
