I was grateful for a successful weekend sale. I did this sale, because I missed doing a show the previous week. My van is on it's last legs, and long trips loaded with stuff makes it angry, and rebellious.
I'd had a good night sleep, and my husband picked up these chippy green chairs.
I sat down to do a little work, and, my computer lost it's mind. I don't even know where to begin to explain, but, I wasn't able to access the Internet or much of anything else, and my icons were out of whack. I'm back in, but, things aren't quite "normal". I was told, that it wasn't a virus. I just need to do some clean up. My laptop gets a lot of use, and it's getting old. I need another computer as well.
So, let's see. I need a new computer, another van, and a long vacation. Guess I'd better get back to work.
A wicked circle innit?
ReplyDeleteHello Rosemary :-) I am happy you had a successful sale over the weekend. Pity I am so far... I wanted some of your treasures. As I am wanting those beautiful roses.
Hoping the computer issues get sorted out.
Big hugs,
Gee
Awwwww sweet Rosemary! When it rains, it pours! But hey, don't feel too bad...I don't even have a car:) Try Malwarebyte's for your computer, my son got a nasty virus on mine late last year and that was the only thing that worked (plus it's free!).
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a successful sale.
ReplyDeleteA new computer - becuase you use it for your work - is going to be awesome.
LOVE those 2 chairs.
Hugs.
Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteThe way you work so hard you deserve a nice vacation!!!
Cynthia
Love those velvet flowers, Rosemary! It sounds like you've got a never ending treasure trove over there. : ) I'm just back from visiting NY, where I was on a forced withdrawal from the internet. I've got a lot of time to make up for now!
ReplyDeleteHear ya on that! I need a new computer as well. Mine is now obsolete...
ReplyDeleteI TOTALLY understand. I wish you lived in Oregon! Would love to come to one of your sales! You have a great eye! (My husband would probably be glad you don't). :) Best wishes for all of your needs and dreams to come true.

I'm convinced that "bummers" always come in pairs or more. (like the day last summer when our A/C and water heater died within hours of each other) I know you will love a new computer, mine is on it's last legs as well. As long as you're getting the computer, you might as well throw in a new van. Then, take a nice vacation, resting with thoughts of your successful sale. See, I just planned your life for you. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE those chairs your hubs picked up. I know you will do something ultra fantastic with them!
Yuck. I hate to hear about van & computer troubles for you - I pray it turns around soon! Phil.4:19
ReplyDeleteSounds like a trifecta that should not be...except the vacation. Love your chippy green chairs. Hope all gets better...
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about all your craziness but a long vacation sounds nice....I could use one too! I love the chippy green chairs!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I know that feeling. I am still trying to organize and file photos on my new Mac and I may never get it done. The chairs are darling.
ReplyDeleteWhat is that saying, when it rains, it pours...so I hope there is sunshine headed your way!!!...Beautiful things Rosemary...love those chippy chairs!
ReplyDeleteI need to see what I have lurking in the abyss in my garage; what a wonderful surprise. It's always something, right? At least your thoughtful husband brought home a little bit of sunshine:-)
ReplyDeleteWhy do bummers always come in threes? Sorry to hear about the pains in the you-know-what but I'm happy to know you are otherwise doing well and got some kicker green chippy chairs!:)
ReplyDeleteI love those velvet roses--you have so much fun stuff! I hope your van is being good, and not too rebellious :)

When it rains it pours for sure! Email me if you want a great computer repair guy. 49.95 and he does it all. We've had him clean out viruses from several of our laptops. He's really good.

I remember the days when we did not have computer problems. We had typewriter keys that would get stuck, and running out of typewriter ribbon. Hope you get your problems resolved. Love those velvet roses and the chairs.

Oh, I hate to hear that! You know you've heard the saying, when it rains it pours? Well, that's probably what is happening to you right now. I'm sure things will get better though. We have some things around our house that need to be replaced and cost a lot of $ too. No fun! But, some things wear out and just have to be replaced. At least the things you need are actually FUN to replace. Getting a new computer or new car/van is more fun than an igniter for an oven and a septic tank field line like we need. LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove those chair. The perfect vintage green.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary! Glad you had a good sale! Sorry to hear that your van and computer are being persnickety! Love the chairs your husband brought home! Hope you have a great week! xoxo,Leena
