However, today, the energy level was low.
So, instead of pushing it, I took a break, picked a few hydrangeas,
and laced some bottles. You can see how I use lace as a stencil HERE.
I used spray sealer to protect the finish.
Renewing my energy for tomorrow. I'm making progress in the Abyss. Unearthing things in boxes I haven't sorted through in a long while.
I knew I had a lot of small items, but I don't think I realized just how many. It took me an entire day to sort and categorize just a few boxes. I'll have to share more of what I discover. For now, rest.
See ya soon.

I love the vases you "laced" and the wire flowers! I need to unearth some things also. Thank you for joining Home Sweet Home! I was missing you.:)

Glad you're taking it easy -- and those bottles are beautiful. I love the subtle pattern the lace creates. While I'm not fond of this cool weather for summer, it does make working outside in the garden a little easier ;)

Slow and steady, Rosemary, that's the best way to go through it all. : ) Your bottles looks so pretty, especially with the hydrangeas. I'll bet they would look great with any flower in them though.
ReplyDeleteRosemary,
ReplyDeletePlease take care of yourself! That is the most important thing right now.
I LOVE those lace bottles!! They are fabulous! Hydrangeas have become my favorite flower.
Happy Weekend to you!
Definitely take care of yourself first, Rosemary. I can't believe how busy you are with your shows and your projects. Treat yourself and try to get away from it all at least for a few days. Can't wait to see what you unearth in your sorting quest.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are taking care of yourself, Rosemary. Are your Hydrangeas really that color? They're beautiful! Nice work with the lace transfer. Thanks for sharing your tips.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always, Rosemary. Love them!!! Glad you are taking it slow if you don't feel that today, SMART.

I so need to do the same. I have around 20 boxes in the garage to sort through. My plan was to grab one box a night and take it one at a time. Funny, how that never happened, LOL.
