When I started having sales a few months ago to clean up "The Abyss", I also seemed to increase my local customer base. At each sale, I'm asked when the next one will be. Since I'm not setting up at shows right now, this has been working out well. I'm also doing more by-appointment selling.
In addition to meeting new people, I'm feeling much better as well. I think I needed to change things around.
My sale will be this Friday, Saturday, and by appointment Sunday. If you're local (I'm in Lansing, IL), send me an email for details. Remember, if you ask me a question in the comments, and, you're a NO-REPLY, I can't answer you.
Looks like it will be a great sale, and you're smart to think of new ways to grow your business. I know setting up at shows can be so much work and stress, this sounds much easier and just as rewarding. Have a great weekend! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh Rosemary, I always get so bummed when you have a sale or a show because I wish I could be there. It looks like it is going to be great. Love the mirror your showing and many other things. I swear girl, if I lived close to you, I'd be broke!!

Rosemary, you have so many beautiful pieces! I am so happy that you have found a system that seems to be working for you! I wish you much success!
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary! I so love everything you have...Do you sell on line? If so, I am interested in the painting. Please let me know.
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Barb Gould
Oh My Goodness! I want to be there. So many good things. Maybe we could clone you and put a "Rosemary" in more areas so we can all reach you and benefit from your talents. Best wishes and xoxo
ReplyDeleteSwoooon...wishing I was in Illinois this weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Illinois is a great state, but you would be the only reason I'd go there! Great items! Blessings from Bama!
ReplyDeleteLucky neighbors! I'd love to get in on a sale like that!!
ReplyDeletelarge pleasure to look over Your beautiful things :)
ReplyDeleteYour sales seem to be working out so well for you, Rosemary! You may not need to do shows! It's probably easier, too, with not having to pack up all your stuff and move it to another location. This way everyone just comes to you.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary, it does sound like you are in a better place. Setting up at shows is a lot of work. Let us know how the home shows are going for you versus the market places you usually sell at. You have such a great eye for designing things.
