Crowns, Clay, Wood, Inside Time

Inside time has me working with my salvaged metal, and, crowns are one of my favorite things to make.

I've been experimenting with my homemade paint as well.  I got a nice crackling effect with the mini crown I created for this little bust.  I gave the bust a plaster finish.

I've been making, and, painting, ornate clay hearts.

They're nearly 4" high, and, I had a lot of fun with the layered paint treatment.

I'm also making more wooden "Joy" hearts.

This next piece was originally gold, and had a very heavy feel.  It's made of metal, and plaster.  I wanted a delicate look.

Yes, I'm keeping busy in this cold weather we've been having.  Going through my stash.  Transforming items. Building my inventory.

More projects await.

See ya soon.
