Lots of cute little things. This chippy tin heart is one of them.
I cut this little heart from salvaged tin, and, gave it this chippy paint treatment. I don't remember how many layers of homemade paint I applied, before bending the heart in spots to get the chipping.
After the chipping, I sealed it. A vintage key, and seam binding finish it.
It seems nothing is safe, including some of my bottles.
A weathered white paint treatment, followed by sealer, gave it the look of frosted glass.
I'm painting some of my metal roses,
and finials.
Keeping busy.
See ya soon.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I love your "old paint" look. It looks authentically old which is not an easy look to achieve, but you certainly have mastered the skill.
