In The Pink

Oh, how I wish I'd taken a before of this frame.  I have so much going on right now, I just wanted to get it done.



I added about five layers of paint, distressing, and chipping along the way.




This particular shade of pink is my own custom mix.









You can see the gold, and, shades of grey underneath.




I finished it with wax.

    Holy Cow! I LOVE the color and all of the chipping an distressing. No matter what the 'before' . . . the 'after' is astonishing! Keep creating -- no gardening for us for a long time I fear LOL

    Rosemary, this is exquisite! I can't believe your eye for color given that you mixed this shade yourself! I am usually not a huge fan of pink, but if I could find pinks like yours, I could become a huge fan. You always hit it out of the park!

    That is so pretty, Rosemary! You are so good at the "chippy" paint. I painted a frame last week, but I don't know how to get the "chippy" paint--mine just looks sanded down. How do you do that? Love your stuff!

    All i can think of is how lovely this is. I hear Maurice Chevalier in my head singing something about heaven. I always thought of you as white and silver, but pink may just be your color.

    Gorgeous! I'd use it for a chalkboard or get some smaller frames in the same color and hang them all one inside the other.
