Chippy Finds

Spring seems to have sprung here, finally.  With that comes the hunt for treasures, and, I always love a nice chippy find.







Both the chippy heart shaped iron finding, and, the piece below were found at the same estate sale.




Originally an outdoor grill, this would make a fabulous planter.







The best thing about these finds?  I don't have to do a thing to them.

    How nice for a change, eh?

    I used to have one of those old hibachi grills years and a lifetime ago. Wish we would have kept it, but back then when things got icky they were let go.

    Who woulda thunk chippy would be vogue?
    Not I, says the regretful gal! LOL.

    Rosemary, you have such a keen eye for finding the very best things! Wish I could do that. Love these chippy finds, I especially love the heart, I have the best place for it. My husband built me the best ever potting bench out of old chippy wood he collected here and there. It still needs a bit of embellishment, the heart would be perfect!
