It's been awhile since I've made one. Sometimes I go back to an older design idea, and, wonder why I took a break from it.
I built them both with salvaged wood, and, used various pieces of vintage hardware and salvage for ornamentation.
I've made many over the years. The first one I shared here was over 4 years ago. You can see the original post by clicking HERE.
It's still one of my favorites. So is this one.
So, now, I'm back to horseshoes, and, working on various designs.

What a cool box. I love the way you use the horseshoes. You must have a very good stash of them! I just peeked around a bit, your blog is lovely and you have so many pretty items. I wish I lived closer and could come to one of your sales!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kim. I wish I could somehow transport all my long distance readers when I have sales. Just so I could meet everyone.
DeleteI've always loved this idea of yours and I still do! Love them and the old hardware additions.
ReplyDeleteYes, as a fellow creative soul, I'm sure you can relate to sometimes having way too many ideas in your head, shelving one for a while, and, coming back around.
DeleteGorgeous! What a brilliant idea, Rosemary. You are so very talented!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cynthia.
DeleteRosemary, I love the boxes with the horse shoe handles. My favorite is the one that says "Villabarnes". You are a genius. xoxo
ReplyDeleteA bit of self-promotion, Nancy. lol
DeleteRosemary,

ReplyDeleteI can't believe how perfect the horseshoes are for this-- I love that divided box! Have you recovered from your sale yet?!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm still recovering, Lauren.
DeleteBeautiful as always! I'll have to keep my eye out for some this summer if I ever get garage sale-ing. =)
