My recent redesigns all have a romantic feel. Like this framed fleur-de-lis.
So, I cut a piece of board to fit, attached a composition fleur-de-lis, and,
layered the whole thing with shades of grey and white.
I used the paint recipes from the Farragoz course, along with a few tricks of my own for added texture.
Here's another design for one of my metal hearts.
After painting, I lightly transferred an angel image, using the "Splendid Blender" pen. You can review that technique HERE.
My heart is resting on a vintage metal rose I transformed with layers of my homemade paint, and, texture.
We've been in the double digits these past few days. Which, feels downright balmy, compared to our recent deep freeze.
I think I'll see what else I can transform.

See ya soon.
